Born and brought up just up the road in Warwick, my interest in music started in the early sixties as a lookalike for Freddie Garrity of Freddie and the Dreamers.
Training in photography i specialised in working with many of the bands emerging from the midlands music scene, i worked closely with The Edgar Broughton Band and the Spencer Davis Group, both of whom i am still in touch with today.
I worked with Black Sabbath, Duran Duran, Ambrose Slade (a seven piece band at the time) Dexys Midnight Runners and many others some who made the big time and others who fell by the wayside.
Internationally i photographed Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and the Beach Boys..
My music tastes know no boundaries though as i approach 70 i am not yet old enough for classical music.
These days i am an award winning food and travel writer and photographer.
