Annual Memorial Football Game for Charity – Atic Athletic V Puritans Radio
Written by Puritans Radio on 21 April, 2018
A DEFEAT FOR PURITANS RADIO
Puritans Radio Football Team, made up mostly of supporters entertained Atic Athletic from Rock The Atic, Butchers Row, Banbury.
The Memorial game gave us the chance to remember supporters who gave so much for this club, Paul Varney, Walter Preedy and Charlie Connor.
The game followed the conclusion of the first team game against Merthyr Town.
The proceeds of the game this year went to The Katharine House Hospice who provide specialist palliative care for adults with life limiting conditions. Offering respite care and support for symptom management and pain relief across North Oxfordshire, South Northamptonshire and South Warwickshire.
